With every season, Pantone (the leading color language for designers) comes out with a fashion color trend report. The colors chosen by Pantone make up the designs seen on the runway during New York and London’s Fashion week. I’m excited to share with you the Fall and Winter 2019/2020 colors from New York Fashion Week

“Colors for Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 range from easy and sophisticated to strikingly different and unique,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “This palette of versatile hues builds a sense of empowerment and confidence, enabling the wearer to choose the colors that best reflect his or her mood and persona.”

Although I am not a fashion designer, keeping up to date with Pantone’s color report is important for designing seasonal advertising for my small business clients as well as working with clients on wedding or party invitations. Each season’s color trend allows us to step out the box and look at how we can uniquely combine the colors. Would you have considered Fruit Dove as a fall/winter color?

I can’t help but remain classic and choose Eden as my favorite color this year with Galaxy Blue and Dark Cheddar not far behind.

Until next time,
